Coagulation Factor II (F2), recombinant mouse protein is supplied as a lyophilized powder. It is suitable for use in protein studies such as enzymatic analysis and protein-protein interactions. This recombinant protein was expressed from a DNA sequence encoding the full length of mouse F2 (NP_034298.1) (Met 1-Gly 618) fused to a C-terminal polyhistidine tag.
Activity: Measured by its ability to cleave the fluorogenic peptide substrate Boc-VPR-AMC R&D Systems, Catalog # ES011.The specific activity is>2000 pmoles/min/µg.
Reconstitution: Dissolve the protein in sterile double distilled water to a concentration of 0.2 mg/ml or lower. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted and be used as soon as possible. Store aliquots under sterile conditions at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
