The Applied Biosystems® TaqMan® Human Apoptosis Array is an efficient, easy-to-use micro fluidic card for quantitative gene expression analysis of targets known to have implications in programmed cell death. The study of apoptosis is important in cancer, HIV, and other disease research. This product is designed with 96 TaqMan® Gene Expression Assays (93 targets & 3 controls) loaded in singletons into the array’s 384 wells and is compatible with an upgraded Applied Biosystems 7900HT Fast Real-Time PCR System. This product is packaged in 1 box containing 4 cards.
The TaqMan® Human Apoptosis Array contains assays for 93 human genes in addition to 3 endogenous controls (18S, ACTB, GAPDH). The 93 genes are categorized in multiple target classes or pathways. The array is pre-formatted and inventoried, cost-effective, convenient and easy to use without needing expensive robotics. Results are reproducible and consistent across samples, studies, and labs —the same data quality from card-to-card and lot-to-lot — even with different operators.
