描述：

Apolipoprotein A1 (apoA1) is the main protein component of high density lipoprotein particles (HDL). ApoA1 (28 kD) is mainly produced in the liver and exported into the circulation where it acquires lipids and becomes HDL. High level of apoA1 is regarded as protective against atherosclerosis and cardiovascular disease. Normal concentration in plasma is 1-2 mg/ml.

All kits include purified human apoA1 as a standard calibrated against an international standard (WHO).

Cross-reactivity has been assessed and confirmed with certain non-human primate species.
 

ELISA kit for quantitative determination of human or monkey apolipoprotein A1 in plasma/serum samples and cell culture supernatant.

The kit contains capture mAb, biotinylated detection mAb, streptavidin-enzyme conjugate ALP and purified apoA1 as a standard.

For the determination of apoA1 in serum/plasma samples by this kit we recommend the use of Assay buffer (code: 3652-J2) for dilution of samples, standard and detection antibody.
