Human MIP-1ß (macrophage inflammatory protein-1ß) is produced by activated monocytes/macrophages and by CD8+ T cells in response to antigenic stimuli. Based on its secretion by activated T cells it can serve as an important complement to e.g. IFN-γ and Perforin when analyzing specific, cytotoxic immune responses.
Mouse monoclonal antibody to human MIP-1beta, clone MIP1β-I. Suitable as capture antibody in ELISA and ELISpot (in combination with clone MIP1β-II biotinylated, code 3495-6).
