Human MIP-1β (macrophage inflammatory protein-1β) is produced by activated monocytes/macrophages and by CD8+ T cells in response to antigenic stimuli. Based on its secretion by activated T cells it can serve as an important complement to e.g. IFN-γ and Perforin when analyzing specific, cytotoxic immune responses.
All kits include a recombinant cytokine standard. No international standard exists for calibration.
Cross-reactivity has been assessed and confirmed with certain non-human primate species.
ELISA kit for quantitative determination of native and recombinant human MIP-1β in biological fluids such as cell culture supernatants. The kit contains capture mAb, biotinylated detection mAb, streptavidin-enzyme conjugate ALP and a cytokine standard. For determination of MIP-1β in human serum/plasma samples, please contact Mabtech.
