Granulocyte macrophage-colony stimulating factor (GM-CSF) can be produced by several cell types among others activated T cells, macrophages, endothelial cells and stromal cells. GM-CSF stimulates the survival and functional activities of neutrophils, eosinophils, and monocyte-macrophages. It also stimulates the differentiation and proliferation of hematological progenitors.
Please check our different ELISA kits for the detection of human or monkey GM-CSF below.
All kits include a recombinant cytokine standard calibrated against an international standard (NIBSC).
Mabtech’s enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, ELISA PRO, is a complete kit for the quantification of human or monkey GM-CSF in biological fluids such as serum, plasma and cell culture supernatants. The assay utilizes ELISA strip plates precoated with a capture monoclonal antibody (mAb), a biotinylated mAb for detection, streptavidin-horseradish peroxidase (SA-HRP), TMB substrate, cytokine standard, buffers, diluents, stop solution and adhesive plate covers.
