Interleukin-4 (IL-4) is produced by activated T cells, especially differentiated CD4+ TH2-type cells, and stimulated mast cells and basophils. The most important effects of IL-4 are the regulation of helper T cell differentiation to the TH2 type and the regulation of IgE and IgG1 production by B cells.
Rat monoclonal antibody to mouse Interleukin-4, clone 11B11. Suitable as capture antibody in ELISA and ELISpot (in combination with clone BVD6-24G2 biotinylated, code 3311-6).
