Interleukin-4 (IL-4) is produced by activated T cells, especially differentiated CD4+ TH2-type cells, and stimulated mast cells and basophils. The most important effects of IL-4 are the regulation of helper T cell differentiation to the TH2 type and the regulation of IgE and IgG1 production by B cells.
Please check our different ELISA kits for the detection of mouse IL-4 below. All kits include a recombinant cytokine standard calibrated against an international standard (NIBSC).
ELISA kit for quantitative determination of native and recombinant mouse IL-4 in biological fluids such as serum, plasma and cell culture supernatants. The kit contains capture mAb, biotinylated detection mAb, streptavidin-enzyme conjugate HRP and a cytokine standard.
