302008 recognizes the heavy chain of rat IgM and has been cross absorbed against Rat IgG. This antibody may cross react with IgM from other species.

Antiserum Preparation
Antiserum to rat IgM was raised by repeated immunisation of goats with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared from whole serum by affinity chromatography on rat IgM covalently linked to agarose.
