Description: The MAR1-5A3 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse IFN-a/b receptor subunit 1 (IFNAR-1). The type I IFN receptor subunit 1 is co-expressed with IFNAR-2 on nearly all cells and make up the heterodimeric receptor complex that binds to all type I IFNs, IFN-a and IFN-ß. Type I IFNs are a group of structurally and functionally related proteins that demonstrate antiviral, antiparasitic, and antiproliferative activities.
