Description: The 13MOKA monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse CD213 alpha 1 (interleukin-13 receptor alpha 1, IL-13Ra1). CD213a1 is the low-affinity IL-13 receptor which mediates normal IL-13 inflammatory signaling. It has been shown that CD213a1 binds to IL-13 which then recruits CD124 (IL-4Rα) to stabilize the low-affinity interaction and form the active signaling complex. The CD213a1/CD124 complex can also serve as a receptor for IL-4, although the role of CD213a1 in this complex is poorly understood. CD213a1 is expressed on activated B and T cells and other cells.
