0710-1008 is specific for bovine arginase, a manganese-containing enzyme, found in the liver that catalyzes the conversion of arginine to ornithine and urea.
Analysis of 0710-1008 by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against rabbit serum, as well as purified and partially purified arginase from bovine liver.
